Job Summary:
Our client, a global medical device manufacture in the northern suburbs of Chicago is in need of a SQL Developer fora 12 month contract. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SQL environments and have a desire to work on virtual/cloud related projects.
Responsibilities:
- Development, testing, maintenance and support of enterprise logical data models and SQL objects
- Performance tune Composite and SQL objects in order to provide the best possible query results
- Contribute to developing standards, policies and procedures for implementing enterprise logical data models within our Composite Data Virtualization environment
- Ensure design consistency with development standards and guidelines
- Assign and maintain security of published views using our corporate data access security model
- Investigate production issues/ problems within the Composite and SQL environments
- Adhere to IS Department policies best practices and work successfully within a scrum team
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 7 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors
