● Akind / Academic Work - ʻ22-ʼ23 Karl was the product owner for a cross-functional team improving the web services for the customer journey from visitor to job applicant, rebuilding the flow from search and filtering through the job application. As the PO in this area, Karl was responsible for customer growth and continuous conversion improvements in the funnel.
● Beleco ʻ21-ʼ22 Karl was Head of Growth & Product. As Head of Product he was responsible for both rebuilding the web page in React and for building a new SaaS tool for managing renting out home offices. As Head of Growth he worked on customer journey mapping, clarifying personas, launching lead magnets and related ads, SEO & SEM, setting up HubSpot & marketing automation, setting up tracking, etc.
● Nomentia ʼ21 Karl was interim Head of Marketing as well as Growth lead for 3 growth teams. Nomentia is a B2B SaaS company and all the marketing activity and experiments are currently digital.
● Desifer Growth Lab ʼ20 Karl launched and headed the Desifer Growth Lab in the fall of 2020. It is a program for a smaller number of companies that want to start working smarter on Growth! Karl together with some of Swedenʼs brightest minds in Growth coached the companies to build their growth engine.
● Deutsche Telekom ʼ20 - ʼ21 Karl worked as a product owner in the digital innovation department at Deutsche Telekom together with a team of 5 developers. Karl was the product owner and UX responsible for developing a completely new app in the smart home area.
● Nobia ʼ19 - ʼ20 Karl started in the role as product owner for the Book a Design Appointment functionality on the web pages for all kitchen brands that Nobia owns. For that Karl helped develop the app to also include slot bookings, preparation questions and enable customers to book video meetings with a kitchen designer. The role expanded to also include other products within Online to Offline, like Livechat, chatbot & marketing automation. Much of the work was product led growth.
● TUI ʼ18 - ʼ19 Karl joined as product owner / product manager for the app in the Nordic countries as well as the app Bamseklubben. TUI have had their app for a while but had fallen behind in the development and the customer experience had several flaws. TUI needed help to reach a unified view among stakeholders how the app should work in the future and prioritization of what is most important for a roadmap.
● Scandic ʻ18 The project goal was to create customer journey maps for leisure guests in order to understand customer needs, pain points, etc. Sources that were used were; online reviews, call center frequently asked questions, web polls, website analytics, a customized guest survey, interviews of hotel staff as well as guests. The work included finding segments with different needs and behavior as well as visualizing the actual customer journey, clarifying pain points and gain points.
● Ingmar ʻ13-present Karl had a vision on how to simplify the daily task of choosing what to eat for dinner, so he founded a company and built an app for it. Some of the work included: creating the business model, creating user stories, drawing mockups, writing requirements, creating the db model, hiring developers, managing developers in sprints, testing, building an email list, creating a food blog, SEO, optimizing for user experience and growth.
