in a team of twelve with a web-based system used for creating printed catalogues as well as managing digital assets (mostly images), product information and assortment information. A few of my contributions and responsibilities were: • Increased the performance of the systems integrations (imports and exports), some of which were so slow and unstable that system had to be restarted several times a day making the system barely usable.
• Split the application into two parts and two separate databases, one supporting updates and one optimized for searching and querying data. This allowed us to increase the performance and the number of simultaneous users in the system.
• Developed support for creating multiple catalogues in different languages for each market.

for an on-going project improving the H&M website www.hm.com. A few of my contributions and responsibilities were: • Migration from Oracle Business Components to a more modern MVC- architecture.
• Development of a content management tool for updating texts and images.
• Developed the backend service to a Flash Server based on the open source product Red 5 enabling recording and uploading videos using a webcam via Flash. The project also included the development of an admin-tool used for reviewing the uploaded videos before they were published to the site.
