Consultant Task – Senior Embedded Software Engineer or Developer, Oslo or remote

For a Norwegian client specialized in developing and providing cutting edge light-based solutions, I am looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer or Developer who can help the client with new product development of a professional photo & video LED lamp, consisting of two parts; the lamp head and the power supply unit. These are separate and they communicate using a RS485 interface. Both units have an MCU, but the GUI is on the power supply unit.

Duration: 6 months + the possibility for extension
Language: English. Norwegian is a plus

Your qualifications
We are looking for a consultant with as many of the following competencies:

·         Solid experience with programming in a mix of C/C++11

·         Experience working with ETL standard library for embedded use

·         Experience working with GUI, BTLE communication api with app and

·         DMX/RDM api for controlling the light (based on rs485)

·         Good knowledge of Nordic SDK/Nordic Semi Conductors

The client is currently using the NRF52840 MCU, with Segger embedded studio, programming in a mix of C/C++11 with ETL standard library for embedded use and with no RTOS.
