Test Automation Specialist

Nasdaq is developing high frequency trading platforms used by exchanges worldwide.

To be able to secure quality and provide continuous delivery Nasdaq on an early stage invest in test automation.

Viktoria has worked both with development of the in-house Java based framework for test automation and with design and implementation of functional and integration tests.

Viktoria have a broad knowledge of the business functionality and have specialized in testing of complex matching logic. Viktoria identified on an early stage a need to test in the border between functional and non-functional testing and did on her own initiative develop a load simulator for randomized mixed load. That load simulator proved very efficient and is now a mandatory part of release testing of Nasdaq trading platforms.

Viktoria have due to her broad knowledge of business functionality and test automation had a leading role regarding development and maintenance of automated tests as well as of education of new colleagues the last years. 

Delivery of the trading platform MME Trading to SET, Stock Exchange of Thailand. Viktoria was responsible to develop a new regression batch for SET. Viktoria was also able to provide to the requirements process with her broad business knowledge to ensure that new functionality harmonized with the product. Viktoria did also work close with the customer by investigating issues and answer questions about functionality and system architecture

Upgrade from Genium INET Trading to MME Trading for ASX, Australian Securities Exchange. Viktoria was responsible to adjust the over 6000 customer specific test cases to the new system version as well as follow up and analyze all changes in behavior as basis for a continuous requirement discussion with ASX.

Genium INET Trading:

Viktoria developed matching logic in Genium INETs matching engine. Viktoria specialized in fixed income trading and was responsible for the fixed income calculation package.

TSN, Transaction Services Nordic:

Viktoria developed logic for fixed income trading in for the Nordic and Baltic exchanges. Among other things she developed solutions for issuing and buyback auctions. She was also responsible for the development of Genium INETs solution for calculations of STIBOR fixing.

Borsa Istanbul:

Viktoria was responsible for the initial merge and integration of the codebase for the new trading system. Viktoria also developed special solutions for fixed income trading .

Genium INET Trading and Clearing:

Viktoria was responsible for the reference data management system for Genium INET Trading and Clearing for the Nordic and Baltic exchanges.

SENTINEL Risk Manager

Sentinel Risk Manager is a solution for realtime risk management. Viktoria developed a solution for automatic calculation if risk parameters based on price data from Genium INET Clearing.

Selection of projects:

Genium INET Trading:

Development of Genium INET Trading  a new platform based on OMX derivative trading system integrated with the Nasdaq framework INET. Viktoria was chosen as the only tester be a part of the small team of 10 persons to start the project. Viktoria was responsible to update the autotest framework to the new architecture, identify and adjusting existing automated test, report and keep track of outstanding issues.

TSN, Transaction Services Nordic.

Genium INET replaced the prior systems Click and Saxess för trading of securities, derivatives, commodities and fixed income products. The products where migrated in steps and Viktoria had a role as support towards the exchange and the connected banks during system and acceptance test.
