Flexible project management is when you succeed in adapting the planning level to the needs.
As an experienced and routined project and program manager I take pride in doing the right thing right now. There are always different views on what that is, and this is where I come in with my approach as a mentoring facilitator and try to obtain an agreement between the different stakeholders.
At other times it is necessary to cut through all the different opinions and take a decision. I have a pragmatic approach to project management, and always try to adapt the planning to the needs. I have extensive experience in working with agile plans as well as more traditional planning techniques.
For the last 15 years I have been working with projects form a lot of perspectives. My role has e.g. been as a Project Manager, Program manager, Consultant, Partner, Manager or Director. Concurrently I have had the opportunity to act as PRINCE2 and Agile trainer as well as Agile coach.
My aim is to give value to the project owner, so my focus is understanding their business, and designing the best and most effective solution.
My primary background is in the IT industry. My projects are often technically complicated, with stakeholders spread across different countries and regions, different languages as well as a variety of skill sets. I often succeed in communicating well with people at all levels.
