Assignment Details
A Hardware Technician is needed for an American multinational corporation specializing in Internet-related services and products in the Chicago, IL area. This position will test, support, and develop test plans for RF validation.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and run 3gpp tests on RF pre-conformance rack. Support design team by running RF validation bench tests (both manual and automated). Compile comprehensive and presentable documentation of experiment conditions and results. Analyze data against 3GPP and carrier RF specifications. Assist in third party submissions by performing RF calibration. Flash software builds, take logs, file internal/external bugs, get resolutions. Modify already existing software test tool code and extend them for specific purposes. Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of experience preferably using RF equipment such as pectrum analyzers and communication test boxes. Knowledge of test automation using scripting languages like Python is preferred but not required. Experience running tests on TS8980 or equivalent pre-conformance system. Benefits
