Freelance Ivanti Asset and Service Management  – (Remote)

Project description:

For one of our strongest partners, we are looking for a senior Ivanti Assets y Service Manager consultant with at least 3 years of experience in the consulting field and in the implementation of ITSM projects. Technical skills and functional expertise are vital assets for the project. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of the solution delivery: planning, feasibility analysis, requirements gathering and analysis, design and prototyping, hands-on configuration, implementation and testing, documentation, demonstration and training, maintenance, post production support, version upgrades, etc. The idea is to carry out an implementation and two evolutionaries if the client likes the way the consultant works, due to that the load of hours will increase up to 60 per month.

The candidate will be working alongside our existing project and support management team, as well as the client team. Due to legal requirements related to the Data Protection Law, the candidate must reside in the European Union, preferably candidates based in Spain. There will not be a fixed schedule or daily load of hours, with which the candidate will have the freedom to carry out the tasks that are given to him/her.

Tasks to perform:

• Technical and functional support.
• Planning, feasibility analysis, requirements gathering and analysis, design and prototyping, hands-on configuration, implementation and testing, documentation, demonstration and training, maintenance, post production support, version upgrades, etc.
• New programming and evolution of the tool.
• Programming, migration in addition to the original Support.

Location: Remote.
Full or part time: Couple of hours per week (possible extensions).
Date approx. from start: ASAP.
Estimated duration: 6 months (possible extensions).
Language: Spanish (preference), or English, or French.

Essential requirements:

• FPII in Computer Science or similar or Technical Engineering in Computer Science or similar.
• Strong experience and knowledge of Ivanti Assets and Service Management JasperSoft reports, BOXI.
• Strong experience upgrading version of products: Ca service Desk Management, Jasper, BOXI.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL, MySQL, or other) and robust knowledge of SQL query writing, including JOINS, UNION and subqueries.
• Customer facing skills and both written and oral communication skills.
• ITIL V4 Foundation (Intermediate or Expert preferred).
• Prior experience in Process Consulting (incident, request, problem, change and configuration management) and definition of Metrics and KPI.

Valuable requirements:

• Experience designing and developing custom integrations using REST and SOAP.
• Programming and scripting, ideally HTML, Javascript and css.
• At least user-level knowledge of operating systems: Windows and Linux.
