Summary
The Consultant is a M.Sc. in Computer Science and an experienced Lead Developer,
Certified Scrum Master and Team Lead. He has nearly 15 years of experience working
with Agile Development processes for Large Software Project Companies.
He is a Technical Scrum Master that through his developer experience knows the details
of both the Software Development Process as well as the Scrum Process. He is an expert
on delivering features with high quality on time.
He has 5 years of experience in delivering software in DevOps setups and 10+ years of
experience in CI/CD environments. He can guide development teams to find the right
Software Development Process. E.g. by helping the team adjusting their code review
process or finding the right level of automated testing.
As a Scrum Master he has experience in tailoring the team process to use Scrum. He has
experience in doing this both for co-located and distributed international teams. He has
vast experience in maintaining Product Backlogs by creating work breakdown structures
using Story Points for estimation. The last 5+ years Jira has been his preferred tool to
maintain the Product Backlog and he also has experience in using Azure DevOps for this.
He guides teams to evolve a process that gives both the business people an overview of
features and deadlines. And at the same time satisfies and supports the developers in
their daily work. This way he builds High Performance teams.
Professional Experience
2020-01 - 2020-01
focusing on automating the finance processes within Vestas.
The consultant had the responsibility to help the teams establish a
product backlog and a process to deliver results via sprints. He
facilitated and shaped the events of the Scrum process for the two
teams consisting of 11 team members in total.
This project is part of a newly established Agile PMO. Since the transition to agile has just begun the consultant has also been helping with agile
project management as well as training employees in the agile ways.
2015-01 - 2019-01
He was part of the team that is building a modern Micro Service based
platform to handle Payment Sources used in MobilePay. It's a core team
with 6 employees at MobilePay.
The team also build 2-way synchronization and automatic healing
services for data between the old Mainframe version and the new Micro
Service based version.
The team also had the responsibility of operating the Payment Sources
part of MobilePay.
As a Scrum Master he contributed with building light weight processes
used with Jira for several teams both co-located and international
teams.
He also contributed to the Scrum Master Community in Danske Bank with lectures on ways of maintaining the Product Backlog as well as
using Story Points for estimation. He also gave a talk on Danske Agile
Conference on these subjects.
2019-01 - 2019-01
team is part of a 4-year transition project changing the technology stack for the system used to ensure power in Denmark.
Energinet recently adopted SAFe. The work of the Consultant included
participating in and arranging SAFe events in a 60+ people Agile Release
Train including Scrum of Scrums, Retrospectives, PI Planning and Inspect and Adapt.
2014-01 - 2015-01
for the 30+ people Columna Service Logistics Product. The Consultant
lead the team building a system to overview the placement and status
of all beds at Aarhus University Hospital. This was a 1-year project with a team size of 3-6 developers. The system was a single-page app written in JavaScript with a MicroService backend written in C# in top of a SQL
Server.
His responsibilities ranged from steering the project to overseeing
processes was followed and to ensure the quality of the developed
software using Software Development skills, Agile Coaching skills as well as Agile Project Management skills.
2012-01 - 2013-01
existing system for Turbine diagnostics at Vestas.
For instance the consultant build a user interface in WPF simulating the
visual interface of a hardware system showing the same red ligths in the screen as the technicians would see if they went inside the turbine and had a look at the hardware system. It was a 4 man project working
in a 1 year project.
Besides working as a developer the consultant stream lined the processes to use Story Points for estimation.
2011-01 - 2012-01

For the two latter the consultant worked purely as a developer.
For the two first customers the consultant handled the customers. This
means project steering, agreeing new features, developing the features and handling maintenance of the system.
It was all smaller tasks of a few hundred hours for 1-2 consultants.

modernize the user interface and to develop new features for Jobnet in a 15+ employee project.
The Consultant acted as the lead developer working with the customer,
internal project management, the architect and the UX engineers to feed
work to 10 developers. He also led the developers by sparring with them and doing quality assurance of their work.
2007-01 - 2009-01
The Consultant worked as a developer as well as the Software Process
Responsible, Risk manager og Test Manager. He was also part of the leadership of COSMIC Function Point on a company level.
2005-01 - 2006-01
developing a web solution for Slots- og Ejendomsstyrelsen for property
management. This was the first project at Systematic to use the Scrum
framework.
2004-01 - 2005-01
Landbrugets Rådgivningscenter to view and edit Farming statistics.
The Consulant also functioned as Internal Auditor on department level to help improve processes, to audit teams processes and to write quality
status reports measuring the temperature of the quality in the 20+
people department.
2002-01 - 2003-01
Messaging Product in Nato in a 1 developer project and implemented the logging in the product.
He was also the Quality responsible in the 30+ people department doing
internal audits, writing quality reports and helping the department to improve processes.
In this period he helped the department moving from CMMI 3 to CMMI

2000-01 - 2002-01
product for planning and analysing tasks for farming machines.
The Consultant analysed the data contents for the database in cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders and developed the data layer for the product.
The Consultant also participated in developing ISO standards on an
international level.

Consultant and Project Manager on a product for Electronic Case and Document Management.
As a developer the Consultant helped build the a new version of the
product for municipalities. As a software project manager he had the responsibilty of commuicating with the municipalities about requirements and leading the development team.
As a consultant he had the responsibility for several customers and the implementation of the product at the customers organization.
As a project manager he participated in steering commities for several
customers and had the responsibility of the technical direction of the product.
