About the Role

The solution will be an Azure hosted .Net core application and built on document-oriented XML data model within MS SQL Server. The team requires the skills of an experienced developer who has extensive experience with XML and C#.

Essential Experience

  • 5 years commercial software delivery, who has a strong generalist developer background
  • Experience in substantial projects developing, validating and transforming XML data
  • Strong experience developing with XML data, XSD schemas, XSL templates and XPath queries.
  • Strong experience developing with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong experience developing web applications using.NET Core with C#.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working with XML data within Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience building applications for the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps and Git to manage work items.
  • Experience in delivery of agile software projects.
  • Experience with the Digital Transformation Agency's AU Design System.
  • Experience with ISO/IEC 11179 or similar metadata standards would be a bonus.
