Technical Support Engineer

My client a leading global name is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Technical Support Engineer to join them on a contract basis

• You will be required to Provides technical support and training to personal computer and PC network users. 
• Assists users in solving problems using available hardware and software tools. 
• Also supports, installs, and maintains personal computers, local area networks, server hardware, operating systems, software, and related IT sanctioned peripherals. 
• Candidates will installs and supports both hardware and software components for user will perform preventive maintenance, test and repair of equipment. 
• You will evaluates system configuration and software to ensure effective use of hardware resources. 
• Candidates will also address and resolve hardware, software and customer issues.
• Candidates will be responsible for installation and maintenance of moderately complex hardware/software systems and supporting smaller user groups. 
• You will provides ongoing support of the standard hardware/software applications. 
• You will implements ways to optimise PC hardware resources in achieving business objectives.
• You will assists with maintenance of local area network server systems. 
• Successful candidates will have knowledge of basic principles,methods, technologies and practices of a professional/technical field. 
• You will apply a basic understanding of the underlying principles of a professional discipline, this will typically be obtained through formal study. 
• You will have general knowledge of procedures and activities within own work area. 
• You have the ability to relate actual day-to-day work to business priorities. 
• You will be focused on learning the key aspects and duties of the job being performed.
