Assignment Details

Working method for this project is Scrum/SAFe. The Client is responsible for the management of the project. The Client, as product owner, will decide on specific functionality and other content of the deliveries as well as in which order. The Client shall accept milestones/variables in accordance with acceptance criteria/plan as set out of the Client. Any work of the Consultant Supplier in acceptance procedures shall be part of the then current sprint.

Below the parties have specified a non-exhaustive list of overall functionality the Software Application Project covers. The parties shall during the project decide on the details (user stories etc.) of deliveries under each sprint. This may affect the overall delivery variables listed below.

Key tasks planned during 2020:
- Script Language extension for Service Apps in ARA Service Tool
- Refactoring of ARA developer tools (i.e plug-ins to Visual Studio), e.g. ABL generator and APL generator
- Adaption/re-design of ARA Service Tool to a micro services architecture (The Clients Industry 4.0 platform)
- Web/tablet solution for ARA Service Tool based micro services architecture
- Modify desktop GUI for micro services architecture

The order of development and the content of each sprint is not decided. That depends on our users’ needs and priorities.

General info:
A Systems developer consultant develops software systems using existing systems or incorporating new technologies to meet particular needs, often as advised by a systems analyst och designer. The role also covers writing diagnostic programs and designing and writing code for operating systems and software to ensure efficiency. The tasks may involve:
- analysing user requirements;
- researching, designing and writing new software programs;
- testing new programs and fault finding;
- evaluating and reviewing software and systems;
- developing existing programs by analysing and identifying areas for modification;
- integrating existing software products and getting incompatible platforms to work together;
- creating technical specifications;
- working closely with other staff, such as project managers, graphic artists, designers, developers, systems analysts, and sales and marketing professionals;

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
Requirements:
- Between 3 and 8 years of experience within the field.
- Independence and high level of competence.

Skills profile:
• Extensive experience of desktop application development using C# and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) in .NET
• Extensive experience of ReactiveX and asynchronous programming
• Experience for development according to Model View Viewmodel pattern
• Experience of the X-unit test framework (or similar)
• Some experience of Industrial Automation or embedded programming, e.g. Beckhoff IPC & TwinCAT3, is beneficial
