Job Summary:
A Supply Chain Engineer is needed for a world leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives in either the East Peoria, IL area. This position will interpret order requirements, resolve parts order exceptions, assist parts expediting to meet machine down and contractual obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct/train dealer personnel on changes to practices and policy related to parts ordering. Coordinate the investigation of order related marketplace complaints.
- Review requests and orders for accuracy and ensures the timely entry and processing of dealer and customer order requirements.
- Assist dealer personnel in evaluating special requirements for orders. Proactively manage orders to ensure timely shipping.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree with at least 2 years experience. Understanding of order management and basic supply chain knowledge, order to delivery standpoint is crucial.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience in Antares, NPI and Supply Chain methodologies is preferred, but not required. Lognet experience is preferred.
