Assignment Details

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree in: Mathematics (Data Analysis and Logic), Statistics, or Computer Science
  • Masters preferred

YEARS EXPERIENCE: 

5 years minimum

PROJECT: 

Develop independent process to filter and test statistical data.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • strong experience with SAS macro language programming and with data driven programming
  • Experience with statistical techniques such as comparisons of group means and proportions, correlation, association, regression (OLS, logistic), quantiles
  • Experience with variance estimation for weighted survey data a plus
  • Python programming background required

EXPECTED DUTIES

  • With existing SAS code, you will learn to select records to a certain criteria, and validate what has been selected matches the expected result.
  • Maintain and offer improvements to existing SAS code.
  • Serve as a backup resource to Ipsos employees during peaks and valleys for in support of some of our largest clients.
  • Absorb knowledge of as-is process, suggest alternate approaches, demonstrating that they achieve the same result and train Ipsos employees on the same.
  • Document processes so others may duplicate the steps in the future to produce and validate the deliverable.

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 6 years of experience
  • Education: Bachelors

  • SAS (3 years of experience is required)
