Senior Technical Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of Network Protocols and OS (OSPF, HSRP, BGP, TCP/IP, etc.)
• Knowledge of VPN, Firewalls, IPS, Load balancing, Cisco Access Points and Controllers
• Ability to configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, migrate, and support Cisco hardware/ devices - routers, switches, controllers, ACI [Cisco 9300, 9800, 8500, etc.]
• Skilled in troubleshooting and installation of WAN/LAN/VXLAN/ VLAN networks

Qualifications:

• Prior project experience with large distribution builds and conversions
• Ability to work partially onsite (50%) and travel (25%) between a few office locations in Chicagoland
• Prior experience working in the Healthcare or Higher Education is a plus
• Bachelor's degree or comparable experience
• CCNA, CCNP, or other applicable certifications are preferred
