Senior Backend Developer

Backend Developer Job Description:

•  Design and develop web applications using Java, .NET, Node, etc.
• Technologies used in this role will consist of but not limited to Spring Boot, VueJS, MySQL, NoSQL, Java, .NET, MongoDB.
• Implementing new product features and improving existing codebase.
• Improving our backend systems to scale as our request and data volumes grow larger and larger.
•  Building the infrastructure that is optimal for solving production issues.
•  Experienced in analysis, design, preparation of technical documentation, development and implementation, and environment support of highly complex and scalable internet web-based application
• Good knowledge of data ingestion architecture, scaling data pipelines and streaming technologies. Knowledge of AWS resources is a plus.
• Experience working with big data analytics tools like Redshift, Apache Spark, or Scala.
  Working in an Agile methodology

Requirements

•  2+ years of developer experience strongly preferred.
• Strong experience with JS frameworks, e.g. React or Angular.
• Experience with CMS is preferred.
• Experience with cross-browser capabilities preferred.
• Experience with component based design is a plus.
• Strong experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields preferred.
