Multimedia Specialist - Illinois

Job Description:

Our client located in the Northwest Suburbs is looking for a Multimedia Specialist.  This is a contract to hire opportunity.  The core of this job is producing video and photo content for a variety of marketing channels including social media, website and catalog.

Responsibilities:

• Hands on experience shooting product photos and videos and editing along with finalizing images
• Create and organize rich media content on server and website.
• Create and manage content in new sales portal that will be connected to the company website.
• Create and develop multimedia (audio / video) content for product marketing videos.
• Record and edit video and sound projects
• Take high quality, visually interesting product photos that are in line with company brand, look and website design.
• Produce high quality, multiple views of each product including processing; ensure that images are ready for print when submitted.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing and Journalism, Communication or a related field and minimum of 2-3 years of experience
• Video Production and editing is a plus
• Catalog experience is a plus
• This position requires excellent communication skills, strong editing skills, strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and, Powerpoint) and experience in Adobe software such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Flash
