Microsoft Business Intelligence Developer / Analyst

The Role

This position's primary focus is to provide a development life-cycle to Data Analytics and BI reporting internally. This is includes Developing, verifying, deploying, and maintaining analytical and reporting tools. You will be providing support to all stakeholders while supporting integration and database systems to ensure accurate data and business reporting.

Please note, you must be available to start immediately or maximum 1 weeks' notice.

Other tasks may include but not limited to;

• Undertake, lead, and participate in BI projects to implement continuous improvement of core reporting and data Analytics services.
• Create, Design and Develop data warehouse facts and dimensions.
• Create or refine and optimize ETL processes for new and existing data sources.
• Provide ongoing status reports, roadblocks, recommendations, budgetary reviews, cost controls and introduce BI and reporting improvements.
• Create visualization dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau,)

If you have a background in the finance sector, this is a huge plus!!

Your Profile

• Extensive experience using MS BI Technologies including SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
• Proven expertise with Power BI - dashboard development and reporting.
• Database and data warehouse development, implementation and design.
• ETL Development
• Strong experience with DAX, JavaScript, CSS and HTML
• Prior experience with Node.js, jQuery, XML, JSON, Python or R - very nice to have but not essential!
• Experience working in large financial businesses is very advantageous.
