Assignment Details

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This is a senior-level IT PM/ Business analyst position.
  • The Project Manager/Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for leading and managing the deliverables and project team
  • Define the overall project timeline including vendor deliverables and timeline
  • Learn the business partners processes, structure and requirements
  • Partner with system owner, business and vendor to shape and deliver the overall solutions
  • This role will be part of the R&D IT team, supporting the Regulatory Affairs, Global Patient Safety, Medical Affairs and Clinical Affairs portfolio of projects
  • Experience with Advertising and Promotions business process and or solutions is preferred

     

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

Project Management

  • Implemented a new validated SaaS software vendor solution from beginning to end, including system integrations
  • Led the work effort of other business analysts on a large project
  • Track record of leading successful projects from start to finish as the lead Project Manager with full project and SDLC lifecycle implementation
  • Understanding and appreciation of processes/procedures and governance required to lead projects
  • Led teams in a matrix environment consisting of various types of roles and skill sets
  • Ability to facilitate and coordinate meetings in an effective manner
  • Ability to deal with tight timelines, limited resources and still deliver on time and within scope
  • Communicate status, solutions and concerns
  • Disseminate information in a timely manner within the team and across functions
  • Maintains project schedule, logs of issues, risks, decisions and advises leadership team and business lead on deviations

     

Business Analysis

  • Strong business analysis skills, background in business analysis required
  • Lead requirements gathering across multiple global functional teams for configure workflows, reports and dashboards
  • Assist business and vendor with defining the plan to transfer existing files to the new system and the verification procedure
  • Review and update documented processes where required to reflect changes in processes based on requirement updates and or tool features and functions
  • Collaborate with the software vendor (i.e., understanding the capabilities of the software vendor solution and identifying gaps/mitigations, resolving test defects, etc.)
  • Design and lead the testing effort for a new software solution including validation testing as needed
  • Work with a Junior Business Analyst and vendor to review and update requirements, process documentation, define configurations, reports, manage UAT and data transfer and verification from current solution
