Assignment Details

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and support IAM solutions.
  • Manage and maintain current security technologies and processes.
  • Responsible for all aspects of AD including problem-solving, configuration and implementation efforts for large and / or complex projects with an emphasis on operational excellence and continuous improvement of AD related processes and procedures.
  • Oversees and maintains the security and reliability of the corporate forest while insuring the integrity of the AD schema.
  • Creation and management of the directory infrastructure. 
  • Analyze and assist in the development and interpretation of information security and security operations processes and requirements.
  • Coordinate with security control owners to assist in the implementation.
  • Review and improvement of operational security controls.
  • Work as a change agent promoting good information security best practices.
  • Follow and implement all security configuration management processes and suggest improvements that are relevant to work.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the security compliance of the domain.
  • Primary person in charge of coordination for AD migration and integration activities.
  • To maintain open communications and follow the change control process when making any corporate change.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent degree/experience.
  • 8 years experience in IT, specifically working with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Windows Server 2012 R2.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Identity Access Management (IAM) Engineer  
  • Good background working with Active Directory
  • Experience working with Office 365 is desired
  • Single Sign-on and SCIM provisioning
  • Experience deploying a client facing SSO portal with directory based access control (Azure, PingSSO,  Sailpoint, etc.)
  • High level understanding of and experience with Web Authentication APIs for passwordless login
  • Strong experience with directory management including LDAP protocols
  • Extensive Powershell scripting experience a must
  • Demonstrated understanding of complex problem-solving techniques dealing with systems engineering and support.
  • Able to set objectives, meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-moving business
  • Has a holistic approach to business; understands his/her own area of expertise and how it applies to the good of the group/business.
  • Solid organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong problem-resolution skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and a team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
