Description

We are currently seeking a Nordic Master Data Director for our client to lead their master data management efforts across their organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of their master data, including its governance, quality, and strategic usage. This role requires an experienced leader who can communicate effectively with stakeholders and build and manage high-performing teams.


Key Responsibilities: 
- Develop and implement a comprehensive master data management strategy across the Nordic region.
- Manage all aspects of master data governance, including policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of master data through data quality controls and audits.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to identify and prioritize business needs related to master data.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of master data professionals, including team leaders in each country and factory.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the master data team and across the organization.


Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in master data management or related field, including 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of master data management concepts, tools, and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale master data initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
