Role: Senior Frontend Developer Novo Nordisk found a way to optimize their time required for a drug to get to the market. To use the new tool, they had to build the first version of an existing MVP web application in a short span of time. They hired in 3 new freelance Senior Frontend Developers to their existing team to speed up the development time and increase the quality of their application.
András had the chance to get aligned, set standards and collaborate with the new and existing frontend developers in the team.
His contract will last until 30th April.

Novo Nordisk

2020-09 - 2023-11

Novo Nordisk decided to build an internal knowledgebase application to access internal and external pharmaceutical information. András joined to the team in the beginning of the development as the person in charge for the frontend. With his experience and skills made the frontend foundation of the application. The project was a success and lead the project and the team to scale and initiate the creation of a new application that will track the evaluation process of early research ideas in drug development.
The application was focusing on usability, putting focus on both desktop and mobile appearance.
While András's responsibility and focus was on the frontend, he was comfortable to work with API, CI/CD and the databases. This T-shaping was increasing the team's overall effectiveness and enabled him to solve problems by himself.
He was also an active member of shaping the team's everyday dynamics.
Out of proactivity and seing the need, András spined up a frontend community in their department (8 people, that were growing to 20-30 during the years), that he facilitated. Gradually he formed the community into a self-organizing group.
During the development of the project, András helped their department to build/manage to build their own Design System, helping from the frontend perspective. The process was including communication with vendors and library maintainers (such as the Vuetify team), communicating with designers and stake-holders of the project and helping setting direction of the project's evolution.
Result: • production ready internal knowledgebase application of pharmaceutical • production ready application that tracks the evaluation process of early research ideas in drug development • established foundation of internal Design System • self organizing frontend community Methods: Scrum, CI/CD Technologies: Vue 2, Vue 3, Vue Router, Pinia, TypeScript, SCSS, Html, JSON5, D3.js, Tailwind, Axios, Day.js, Node, Webpack, Vite, Storybook, Docker, Python, FastAPI, Neo4j, Figma, Azure DevOps, AWS lambdas, Azure Pipelines

Cobiro Aps

2019-06 - 2020-09

The goal of the start-up, Cobiro Aps. was to make advertising easier for middle-sized businesses. The strategy was to create a web application where the users can create Google Ads, Google Shopping Ads and Facebook Ads.
Initially András was part of the frontend team of the company, that was working together to implement the frontend tasks of the first version of the application.
After being on the project 4 months, there was a reorganization in the company, where they create cross-functional teams for each of the parts of the application. András was responsible for creating and maintaining the frontend of the Facebook Ads part of the web application. Together with backend developers, a UX/UI designer and a product owner.
One of the biggest challenges was the on-going communication with the Facebook team (called Meta today) as the implementation was tightly coupled with their API. With András's help, the team could finish the assignment and with that attract a new bigger user-base to the platform.
The system was customer-facing, so their feedback and the way they used the application had to be carefully monitored to optimize their journey in the application.
Result: • Production ready web application of Cobiro Aps.
• Production ready feature of Facebook Ads Methods: Scrum, CI/CD Technologies: Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, SCSS, Html, Node, Webpack, Storybook, Docker
