Website maintenance and migration of a VoIP billing system from Perl to PHP The company had acquired a VoIP system that would handle invoicing and many system rules for calling locally and internationally. The web version management system was developed in Perl (and exposed using CGI) and seriously poorly coded. Team developers were experienced in other technologies that were not web related. Upper management decided that it would be easier to migrate the platform from Perl to PHP. My tasks were related to providing a base framework that could expose services that could be used by different endpoints. The website, their VoIP client called VoxOx.
