Test manager

We are looking for an experienced test manager for our client, which is a provider of digital display solutions for businesses. They work on both software and hardware.

There are three different teams that the test manager is to work with: electronics team (hardware), mechanics team and software team. The main responsibility is to plan and organize testing together with these three teams and oversee and support test engineers in their work. This is for the most part a role where organizing plays a big part in. However, it is beneficial to have hands-on experience and competence to be able to support testers in their responsibilities.

Together with the testers, the task is to verify the proper functioning of client products, ensuring compliance with technical requirements. The key responsibilities include setting up test environments, test coordination, test plans, test procedures and managing tests for prototypes and manufacturing devices. Interpreting test data to generate comprehensive reports and providing insights and recommendations to R&D.

Requirements
– At least 3 years of experience in a similar role / competency
– Both hardware and software testing experience is appreciated, however it is expected to have a good deal of prior experience at least in one of the areas
– BSc or MSc in technical fields.
– Good written and spoken English.
– Preferably experience with measurement and test devices, good documentation skills, good communication skills, experience in test automation and script languages
– Nice to have: basic understanding of electronics, safety requirements.
