Professional Service Designer

Description:

• Exciting new opportunity for a Service Designer to be part of a Government agency on a contract basis.
• You will be capable of refining and applying service design methods to get the best outcome for end users and will be responsible for delivering an efficient and user-centred service experience.
• You will work in a multi-disciplinary team to build world class government digital services. You will be helping government do the hard work to radically improve government information and services. You will design to make services easy for everyone to be able to understand and use, with a focus on web standards, usability and accessibility.
• You will be working in a team that includes a delivery manager, product manager, user researcher, technical lead and interaction designer and together you will help to understand the overall service opportunity and transition from current state to an improved service, using service design techniques. Working collaboratively in the design process to ensure that user needs are understood and considered in decisions the team is making.
• You will have extensive experience working in Agile and be familiar with leading contextual user research, as well as leading co-creation workshops, idea generation, prototyping and blueprinting services solutions to name a few.
