IT Infrastructure Technology Architect, (Parma)

PROFILE DESCRIPTION:

Skills and main duties

Support the Solution Architect in the design, documentation and evolution of the infrastructural aspects of the solution architectures. Translate requirements into detailed technical requirements, functional specifications, architecture and detailed design (including detailed Bill-of-Materials). Develop executable prototypes of the architecture. Provide 3rd level support for operational activities (e.g. by helping identify root causes of capacity or availability issues).
Customer facing skill-set and background with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
Support pre-sales activities on solution design, including hardware and sizing definitions.
Create architectural designs & solution descriptions, coordinate, perform effective installation of network systems as required.
Good organisation skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management and multitasking skills.
Technically lead, implementation & cooperate in projects.
Plan and perform appropriate procedures, documentation, inventory assessment, and other procedures related to network/architecture management. Evaluate access permissions and privileges. Implement and enforce security.

Minimum experience

8+ years proven experience in design of architectures and solutions, delivery, tuning.
12+ years proven experience to implement, administer and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers.
Able to apply security best practices, platform hardening, vulnerability analysis and remediation.
Solid competences in CyberSecurity & cloud base security.
Solid knowledge in hardware design, network architectures, Directory systems, TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls.

Nice to have skills

Hands on experience on security solutions (Firewall Load, Balacing) of Juniper/Checkpoint/F5
Skill on Cisco Advanced Data Center Architecture (DCA) / Nexus Design
Experience to implement, administer and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers
Capability of integration in a multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working are mandatory.
