Enterprise Data Architect

Assignment Description 
We are looking for a Master data architect with several years of experience of information and data architecture from an enterprise perspective. 
In this exciting and challenging role, you will be involved in many of the bigger projects and programs within IT. You will work with a complex system landscape and drive requirements, solutions and projects within the Master Data area. 
As a Master data architect, you will be a part of the Service Area Master Data Management within Enterprise Applications division. 
The team consists of architects for different master data objects and you will have close contact with architects and application experts from other areas as well as requirement specialists from IT and business. You will work in close co-operation with the Master data area architect. 

To be successful in this role you have experience working with architecture or application design, you are customer focused, structured and understands business needs. You like constant improvements and are straight forward and open minded. 

The primary tasks for the Master data architect are: 
• Master Data Architect responsibility stretches within client 
• Typically focusing on one or several specific object or specific areas around data management 
• Responsible for understanding and ensuring consistency of object implementation cross enterprise 
• Together with area architect and data lead (SAR) translate business strategy, business needs and challenges into appropriate target architecture for data area. 
• Manage strategic stakeholders within client (aligning and facilitating architecture forums, data strategy office and other) 
• Responsible to manage applicable deliverables 
• Information models (semantic information models, logical information model) 
• Target architecture (includes conceptual overview of capabilities, important guidelines, principles and roadmap) 
• Integration architecture (data flows for area of responsibility) 
• Steer new initiatives and projects within the area of responsivity in order to achieve target architecture 
• Drive and own pre-studies within area of responsibility and for strategic project drive the design & implementation of new functionality when needed 

Mandatory requirements: 
• Several years of experience as architect 
• Data/information management 
• Information and data modeling 
• Architectural modelling/design 
• Experience from working in large and global organizations 
• Experience from working with both technical and business questions 
• Excellent verbal communication and documentation capacity in English 

Qualifying: 
• Experience of working with ERP systems, preferably SAP 
• Experience of working with Master data and understanding of common concepts within the master data management area 
• Has worked in global projects and roll-outs with offshore development 
• Experience from project management. 
• Experience from working in line with common IT frameworks (ex ITIL) and project methodologies 
• Experience from working in an agile context 

Tools: 
• Visio or other information modelling tools 
• Enterprise architecture tools (ex Sparx EA) 

Others: 
• Adoptable to the clients methods and tools – and working environment 
• Strong working knowledge of office-related automation tools: PC, word processing, spreadsheet etc.
