Position Description:
The position is for a senior developer with a lot of experience in designing and building messaging solutions using IBM MQ platform. You will be working within ICC delivering support for our distributed messaging platforms based on IBM MQ and supporting our users of the platform.

You will also be working with developing our backend APIs for our Integration Portal where we enable self-service capabilities for IBM MQ and our cloud gateway which we have built to bridge between IBM MQ and cloud messaging/storage for different clouds.

The team is a partial DevOps team and is responsible for the full ALM process for our IBM MQ network including monitoring and our custom solution we have built for this based on the Influx stack.

The main tasks will be:
Working with architecture of IBM MQ
Development of automated ALM for IBM MQ
Support applications in their usage of our IBM MQ network
Development of both backend APIs used for automation around IBM MQ network

Primary Skills Required:
Knowledge of IBM MQ both from an infrastructure perspective as well as from a developer perspective
Knowledge of integration concepts and integration patterns
Capability of educating developers and communicate with stakeholders.
Scrum software development methodology, including analyzing features and stories and talking to users to understand their needs.
Writing quality code primarily backend and concepts like code reviews, pull requests, unit testing and tools and techniques supporting this.
Continuous integration and Continuous deployment.
Agile believer, motivated and positive attitude
Ability to work well in a team

Experience Required:
Backend development using Java (Spring Boot), Node.js and GO
Experience in consuming and creating REST APIs
Experience in working with relational databases using PostgreSQL
Experience from working in a Scrum-team
Experience of Docker & Kubernetes
Experience of Azure

Additional Experience Preferred:
Experience from Azure DevOps
ELK stack and TICK stack for logging and monitoring
