Business Program Manager

Job Description:

• Responsible for program oversight, planning, program tracking, scope management, change control management, risk management, and quality assurance of the development project team
• Assist in development and support of the vision and business objectives of the organization
•  Direct the activities of resources in line with business objectives of the organization
•  Ensure quality and timely delivery of critical path products and services
• Establish and maintain quality metrics and guidelines
• Implement process and system improvements including integration with other functional areas
•  Translate organization's business requirements into effective business solutions

Education and Experience

•  Individual must have a bachelor's degree and at least 12 years' experience and experience in implementing global projects, OR An advanced degree with at least 10 years of consulting experience and experience in implementing global projects in the retail and/or healthcare industries
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
•  Minimum of 7 years business/industry knowledge
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with Project Management systems/Applications
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Information Technology

Responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains long-term relationships with strategic Walgreens and industry leaders
• Adept at the development of schedule, cost, and risk management strategies
• Experienced implementing project management within various Walgreen organizations and environments
   

Experience in:

• Agile program management/delivery
•  OKR(s) - connected to the goal/outcome driven management and reporting model
•  Participated/contributed to Large Technology programs, business adoption, modernization/transformation programs, setting up "product" organizations
• Supporting change/engagement management - not just the field, managing a large and dynamic set of stakeholders across the whole company
•  Very strong communication skills

• Experience level: Manager

• Education: Bachelors
