Assignment Details
The client is going to build a federated layer above their different inventory systems to be able to expose their inventory information in a standardized way throughout the organization. The federated layer will be using both streaming data via Kafka and API:s via REST.
Technology: Kafka, Protobuf, REST, Kubernetes, Java 11
What we are looking for:
• Backend developer who is prestigeless, meticulous, has an eye for details, and is able to scope complex data structures into one common specification
• Someone that can be the departments “go to guy” for integration questions towards our systems
• Good communicative skills with both other developers and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with Kafka and the Protobuf format
• Has specified and developed large and detailed REST interfaces using JSON format
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker containers
• Is up to date and comfortable with the latest additions to Java
