Assignment: Test Lead for the development of the new business platform MyBusiness 2.0 and Test Lead for the maintenance of the existing platform MyBusiness Classic. The new business platform MyBusiness offers a host of services for all stages of an enterprise so that the entrepreneur can focus on the core business. The platform contains features that support messaging, accounting and documents, payroll, receipts, invoices, HR, strategic analyses and other business-related services. It handles large amount of data and has several internal and external third party integrations. The mission was to develop a brand new business platform to eventually replace the existing MyBusiness platform. In practice, this meant allowing the two platforms to coexist for an extended period of time in order to migrate over customers as the new platform developed and could meet customer needs depending on functionality.
Responsibilities: Camilla was responsible for setting up the test plan, prioritizing, implementing and following up the test work in the two different development projects. The test work consisted of testing all new functionality in each platform, internal and external third party integrations and mobile applications (iOS and Android). With one platform in production and the other one under development, there was a great demand to work agile and quickly align with any changes along the way. She worked closely with developers, architects, product owners, management leaders, and suppliers of various third party systems when planning and aligning the test work for the upcoming releases and the migration of customer data prior to the rollout of the new platform.
