Sammanfattning
Markus is specialized in software architecture and software development of Cloud and SDN platforms. He has also specialized in low level C/assembler programming of embedded systems.
Markus is currently working with cyber security and design and requirements of a data center for the military and Swedish government.
He has has been part of developing around 20 products such as data center platforms, routers, (virtual)switches, drivers, network stacks, test tools, commonly with the role as architect and/or software developer. He has also been part of developing several prototypes around new technology in the networking and hardware acceleration field.
Collaboration with developers from companies/organizations has been common on a weekly basis with for example Intel, Barefoot Networks, ONF - Open Networking Foundation, Attala, Supermicro, Quanta, Cisco, Broadcom, Mellanox, Netronome and Red Hat.
Previous project at Ericsson was to develop a router prototype, based on the P4 programming language, for data centers allowing NFV (Network Function Virtualization) applications to run at highest possible performance.
He has been involved in open source communities such as fd.io, Open vSwitch, OPNFV, DPDK and Linux..
Markus is positive, social and ambitious and easy to work with. He quickly assess new tasks and takes responsibility for the end result.
