I'm in charge of the IT and Tech division of Tech Company in Automotive Industry Europe.
This is a fresh startup with connections to Tech Company in Automotive Industry in China.
As a result, there aren't many systems and procedures for the European half. It is my role to develop the strategy for how Tech Company in Automotive Industry Europe wants to use systems and software.
Since we share some systems and frequently work together, I closely communicate with the CIO in China.
At the present, I only have consultants working for me. There are currently two di erent teams. One team handles IT support, while the other handles Engineering (Platform & Network)

I was in charge of our IT Operations division globally. Currently, there are only two teams in the division. The IT Support team is one, and the IT Engineering team is another.
The IT Operations division was in charge of several systems and processes.
● Designed and led implementation of a company-wide enterprise security strategy for network, endpoint protection, data protection and SSO.
● Worked on GDPR, ITGC, ISO, IT regulations, and other security measures with stakeholders including legal, finance, compliance, and cybersecurity.
● Provided strategic advisory for future planning and IT requirements for implementation of business goals.
● To ensure that the purchase of IT hardware, systems, and software was handled properly, I worked closely with vendors.
● I regularly spoke with executive management about any challenges or issues we were having with IT.
● I performed hands-on engineering work as needed because I enjoy staying updated with the technological stack.
Processes for joiners, movers, and leavers underwent a significant overhaul. Making sure this process was as perfect and automated as possible. The business benefited greatly from this in terms of productivity and security.
● Our new meeting rooms at our new headquarters were planned and implemented under my direction. Along with the new landlord, this work was completed in collaboration with the architects.
● My job required me to develop OKRs and present them to the management team.
● Created an IT Support team that currently provides services to the entire organization. (This includes hiring new employees, developing processes and routines, replacing vendors, and negotiating contracts.) ● A team of IT engineers was formed (Including recruitment) ● Negotiated new contracts for various services like G Suite (Google Workspace), Slack and Fleetsmith ● Negotiated new vendor for hardware purchases like laptops and phones ● Negotiated a new contract with a new cell phone provider.
Lowering the cost and o ering a better service to our users ● Implementation of Okta (IAM) to help secure the company ● Implementation of a MDM-system to help secure the company ● Implementation of BambooHR and integrate that with Okta ● Implementation of Netsuite ERP system.
● Created onboarding and o boarding routines to help secure the company and increase the employee experience ● Overhaul of Google Workspace including making sure that it was configured in a secure way ● Replaced global network infrastructure with Cisco Meraki

Worked with the design, architecture and development of our on-premise and cloud based IT-infrastructure. The majority of the workforce are artists and they are working on TV-shows and movies from companies like Disney, Sony and Apple. This means that the security level is very high, the data needs to be protected. I am a big fan of automation, this tends to help with security and time.

MAY 2016 - DECEMBER 2018 In Sweden, I was in charge of maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure, which supported 700+ developers. There were four Systems Engineers in the team.
Everything from hands-on work to design and architecture for our virtualization platform (VMware on Dell PowerEdge hardware), build pipeline, and storage solutions (EMC/Dell Isilon, EMC XtremIO) is part of my daily work. Everything was run in our own datacenter, which meant we were responsible for everything associated with a datacenter, such as the cooling system and fire suppression system.
We were constantly attempting to push the limit and utilize cutting-edge technologies.
Vendors and platforms that we used: Google, Microsoft, SCCM, Jamf, Carbon Black, Slack, Gitlab, Jenkins, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, Perforce, ServiceNow, Okta, VMware and Cisco to name a few.
Couple of key infrastructure projects: ● Implementation of EMC XtremIO and later on also replaced that with XtremIO X2. 100 TB+ All-Flash storage with inline dedupe and compression.
● Implementation of Dell EMC Isilon using a mix of F800 and H500 nodes with a total of 1PB+. Replication setup with a branch o ce in Israel.
● Implementation of new 32Gb fibre channel network.
● PoC with Dell, VMware Horizon and Nvidia for high performance and low latency VDI with GPU.
● Automation of pipeline and VM creation with VMware and XtremIO.
● Expansion of server infrastructure from 32 PowerEdge blade servers to 96+.
● Moved our entire datacenter to a new location during 48h without unnecessary downtime.
● Part of a global implementation project for SCCM ● Part of a global implementation project for OKTA ● Implementation of PernixData caching in VMware before they were bought by Nutanix
