Chief Architect, Predictive Analytics. My main contribution during this time was the work I did to build out the real-time analytical capabilities that was one of the reasons IBM decided to acquire
SPSS Global


SPSS. To achieve the real-time capability, it was important to create a proper deployment platform
that could handle contextual data to score the streaming data with stored data to drive insight. This
feature enabled SPSS to be able to work with real-time transactions that for example was used in financial applications or predictive maintenance on sensor data. When IBM was set for the acquisition of SPSS I was dedicated as a technical liaison during the due diligence process.

Responsibilities: Managing the architects inside the field technical team but also the R&D architects.
Here I had two major assignments, focusing on introducing enterprise readiness for SPSS and leading
the R&D team in building the right solutions for the enterprise market reporting to CEO and CTO of SPSS. I was responsible for 50-60 people around the world.
