Ascom At Ascom I am part of a cross-functional team that develops, and maintains, the Ascom Android platform, called Myco. This includes implementing, and maintaining, Ascom speciíc functions for their Myco devices - from the very core, the kernel, through the HAL's and system services, to the very top levels of user interfaces. During my current visit to Ascom I have taken "ownership" of implementing their personal alarm running on the Qualcomm Hexagon (a low-power island which is always on and sensing). This included learning the Sensors Execution Environment developed by Qualcomm, and their speciíc interfaces for communicating with Android.

At Volvo cars, remote functions, I have been deeply involved in the planning and development of the Android app used to interact, and control, cars made by Volvo.
This includes both work in an Android SDK used by the Volvo and Polestar apps and the development of the Volvo Cars application. Beyond development of the SDK and app I've taken a lead in organising cross-team cooperation and methods of working between diìerent teams, to streamline and raise quality of the code produced by all teams involved. I've also taken part in several innovation workshops in which we've started developing proprietary tools for use by the engineers at Volvo, with the goal to further streamline the development process.

My task was to emulate the Volvo speciíc hardware available in the car to allow the operating system, based on Android, to run on the cloud.

Parans Solar Lighting builds novel lighting íxtures that illuminate spaces with little, or no, natural sunlight. The íxtures use natural sunlight, transported through a series of optical íbers, from light collection machines placed in strategic places. I was tasked to develop the support engineers administrative web interface. In the interface the engineer would be able to list all globally available resources, create service tickets, act on alerts, and take other actions.

Care of Sweden develops products used within healthcare to reduce the pressure ulcers sustained from spending long periods laying down. My colleagues had already developed a web-based application for running test-cases on Care of Sweden's product range - my task was to embed the web application in an Android shell. The shell was supposed to be easily conígurable through a JSON structure and maintain a live connection to the API endpoints. If the connection to the network or server failed it should notify the user and attempt to mend the situation automatically.

Inspired by Evernote and similar apps, Simpliday set out to build a calendar application with built-in support for ToDo's. The app connected to a number of diìerent types of servers such as mail and calendar to automate the creation of resources in Simplidays servers. Simpliday hired me to lead a small Android team to bring their Android application up to speed with their iOS app.
