Virtualisation Specialist - Dublin

Virtualisation Specialist Contract 6-12 Months Dublin. My client a leading global name is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Virtualisation Specialist to join them on a contract basis.

Job Description:

• You will responsible for implementation of virtualisation products and systems including networking, security, servers and operating systems. 
• You will performs software product installation, configuration management, maintenance, testing and documentation of virtualisation platform. 
• You will ensures highest level of availability, reliability and performance for virtualisation platforms and associated products at both server and client level. 
• You will works with the architecture teams to translate high level business requirements into technical designs and practical solutions. 
• You will define comprehensive automation for virtualised environment and provides level software and problem diagnosis together with other support team members and installs upgrades and patches.

Experiences:

• Successful candidates will have experience in the VMware vSphere product set, including the VMware vSphere's vCenter and ESXi across different hardware ranges. 
• You will have experience of the Physical-to-Virtual migration procedure and how to complete in line with industry best practices. 
• You will have experience in the integration of VMware with Windows Server and Red Hat technologies. 
• Candidates will have experience in scoping and sizing exercises, as well as performance troubleshooting and adjustments, using management and analysis tools specific to virtualisation platforms. 
• You will have experience in the use of resiliency, clustering, and Disaster Recovery approaches using tools including vSphere High-Availability features and VMware's Site Recovery will have experience in automation of common tasks including host and virtual machine deployments. 
• You will experience in patching and upgrade strategies for virtualisation technologies using virtualisation tools including VMware Update Manager. 
• You will also have experience in virtual desktop infrastructure and virtual security platforms, including VMware Horizon View and VMware NSX.
