job summary:

A UX Designer is part of Clients Digital Product + User Experience Team, responsible for enabling Clients customer facing capabilities across all stages of the customer journey. The Digital Product Team owns defining Clients digital product strategy and providing the leadership to execute on that strategy with the help of a cross-functional Team.

 Responsibilities:

  • Create sketches, prototypes, wireframes, screen-flow diagrams & UI specs for testing and development
  • Rapidly iterate on design prototypes and working applications
  • Thoughtfully articulate design decisions and rationale. Design direction should be based on the overall product roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles
  • Collect and utilize qualitative and quantitative data from usability tests and business analytics to make value-driven design decisions
  • Provide design support during development and execution; assist with QA to ensure designs are implemented accurately and with the highest standard

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of web or mobile app design experience
  • Proficiency using UX and prototyping tools (Axure, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, InVision, Proto.io, Slack, etc.)
  • Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to create wireframes as well as visual design comps
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and be able to work effectively in a team
  • High attention to detail but able to work quickly to meet deadlines
  • Must have portfolio examples of sketches, workflows, interactions, and end state work
  • Must be up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

skills: 

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Human-Computer Interaction, information design, communications, Computer Systems, etc.)
  • Experience with Agile and/or lean philosophy and methods
  • Commercial sites/apps design experience
  • Understanding of HTML, JavaScript & CSS
