Product Coordinator - Oak Brook, IL

Our client in the Western Suburbs has an exciting opportunity.   Do to growth,  our client’s Brand Team is looking to add a Product Coordinator.  What does this mean exactly?  It means we are seeking a professional who has supported a Brand Team with new product roll outs.  In this role you will work with multiple departments overseeing all kinds of schedules and deliverables as they pertain to:

• Manufacturing
• Sourcing
• Creative execution:  Packaging, Web Presence, Social Media
• Advertising and Promotional Development
• Pre and Post Budget Analysis

Hmmm, but what do I do when no new products are being rolled out?  Great question!  With our client’s vast product line there is always something  going on such as:

• New packaging roll outs
• Additions to current line extensions
• Product improvements and/or enhancements
• Retiring old SKUs
• ETC…….

Here’s what we are seeking in a professional:

• Minimum 4 years of experience
• Minimum Bachelor Degree, ideally Masters Degree
• Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software:  Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of business insights software such as Cognos or Adage
• Able to work onsite with some local travel to the city as needed
