IT Operations Engineer - Dublin

Key Responsibilities

• Mange production incidents, resolve independently or flag the relevant team member. Ensure management are kept up to date of any incidents
• Review and assist in development of requirements and technical specifications
• Configure services including documentation of all work in accordance with agreed standards.
• Provision of instructions, help and advice to other team members to develop their abilities and to enable them to increase their productivity
• Work with the Project Manager to deliver planned project activities to agreed timelines
• Arrange, prepare and conduct meetings, workshops and presentations as needed or attend workshops as required
• Proactively manages availability, and devising and delivering on approaches to reduce incidents
• Coordinates key operational and project workload for the team

• Linux Admin Skills
• Azure AD knowledge desirable
• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred
• Certificate Management – replace, install, troubleshoot
• Application Administration – Use of following products

  • NetBackup
  • MoveIT
  • A10 LB’s
  • SolarWinds
  • WebLogic
• Basic networking knowledge
• Basic firewall skills (Cisco and Fortinet)
• Team Player
• The ability to up skill on new technologies and a desire to continuous enhance your skill set
• Flexible hours/shift hours – including weekends
