About the Role
- Develop an understanding of what impacts
- Build new queries, reports, and models to analyse customer data
- Provide actionable insights to Retail and/or Customer Operations department
- Translate data results for effective communication to a non-technical audience
- Carry out ad hoc interrogations of customer data
- Support existing reports, analysis, and models
- Gather, process, and analyse data from different sources for data models
- Provide management information reporting
- Work with other departments to develop understand of key business needs
About You
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related technical academic background.
- Extensive use of SQL in an educational or work setting
- Strong knowledge of a statistical programming language such as R or Python
- Proficient in at least one open-source statistical computing language, with a strong preference for R or Python
- Understanding of key data science concepts including
- data mining
- statistics
- machine learning
- Excellent analytical skills required with good problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Good collaborator with willingness to learn and can-do attitude
