Technical Change Manager

Primary Purpose of the Role

Assisting business areas to manage the communication and business changes that result as a consequence of a business technology project. In doing so, this role helps to ensure smooth project implementation and achievement of business objectives through the engagement of all stakeholders. The role also contributes to ensuring that the business area is ready, having undertaken any prerequisite training and amended, documented and communicated any new or changed business processes.

Selection Criteria

• Substantial proven experience in project-based change management and planning preferably in a large, complex organisation
• Extensive knowledge of and experience in applying formal project change and risk management methodologies
• Experience in business analysis, including data and business process mapping
• High-level analytical, research and problem-solving skills with an ability to develop innovative solutions
• Proven ability to interact with all levels of an organisation's hierarchy
• Proven consultative interpersonal and negotiation skills, applied at a senior executive level in a large organisation
• High-level verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to organise and facilitate effective workshops
• Project management experience
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent substantial experience
• Commitment to safety and safe behaviours in the workplace
• Ability to identify and act on issues that affect the implementation of OHS, EEO principles and ethical practices
