Level 3 Systems Engineer

Description:

• Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure.
• Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software. Monitors the performance of systems.
• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Responsibilities:

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others.

Qualifications:

• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
• This job is for an engineering role - current focus is on IP Camera, Video Management Systems (VMS), and Physical Access Control Systems (PACS).

Skills:

• Candidate should have strong knowledge in Networking and Windows / Linux OS, along with general knowledge of Active Directory, Storage / SAN, Automation / Orchestration.
• Vendors we use are Axis Cameras (Axis Communications), Milestone XProtect (Milestone Systems), Lenel Prism, Lenel OnGuard, and Genetec.
• Assignment will more than likely be extended, with a possibility of conversion.
