Assignment Details

We have an assignment to look for a database expert in PostgreSQL and Oracle technologies. In this project, you are to join an internal team dedicated to database-related planning, architecture, and infrastructure for a financial player. Additionally, the team works with database administration and challenges of high complexity. The team has ownership of the database platforms.

You will work together with the team to, among other things, build database infrastructure and set up Oracle- and PostgreSQL -environments. Also, the team will take part in the database services and handle tickets from the R&D -teams as subject matter experts. It is expected to have work outside the general office hours.

You might be described as someone who is social, a good team player and service-minded.

Your qualifications
The main requirements for this project are:
– Extensive project experience with PostgreSQL
– Extensive project experience with Oracle databases
– Many years of experience with database -related work

Nice-to-have requirements:
– Experience with AWS, especially AWS RDS
– Experience with SQL-server
– Experience with DB2

Fluent English required, Finnish not demanded.
