Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for managing complex projects? We are looking for a skilled IT Project Manager to take charge of multiple sub-projects within a larger carve-out initiative. If you have a strong technical background, particularly with Microsoft Azure, and are fluent in Finnish and English, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
 

Your Role

As our IT Project Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the successful execution of multiple IT projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing project activities, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and ensuring that each project aligns with the overall goals of the carve-out initiative. You’ll manage the implementation of new systems and the decommissioning of legacy ones, driving seamless transitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee and manage multiple IT sub-projects, ensuring they are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with the overarching program goals.
• Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve any issues that arise.
• Technical Oversight: Leverage your technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, infrastructure, and enterprise applications to guide project decisions and ensure technical excellence.
• Multi-Project Handling: Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining focus and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
• On-Site Leadership: Be ready to travel to Finland as needed, providing hands-on leadership and support to ensure project success on the ground.
   

What You Bring

• Extensive Experience: 7-10+ years of IT project management experience, with a proven track record in managing complex IT separations, migrations, or similar initiatives.
• Technical Expertise: Strong technical background, particularly in Microsoft Azure, infrastructure, and enterprise applications, with the ability to navigate and resolve technical challenges.
• Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in both Finnish and English is essential, enabling effective communication and collaboration with diverse teams.
• Proactive Approach: A hands-on, detail-oriented approach to project management, with the ability to anticipate issues and drive solutions.
• Flexibility & Mobility: Willingness to travel to Finland for on-site work, ensuring a strong presence and leadership during critical project phases.
