Consultant Task – Frontend Developer, Copenhagen area

For a Life Science Center based in the Copenhagen area, we are looking for an experienced frontend developer to help drive a large-scale and exciting new development project. 
The client is working on creating a single web portal for their suite of HPC, cloud, and user administration services. You will be responsible for leading the frontend development and be working with API frameworks. Our ambition is to create new ways for users to interact and use traditional supercomputing services. 

You will join a rapidly growing and international development team, committed to delivering the best solutions to our 1500+ user community. As a member of the development team you will make an impact from day-one, being part of key decisions and contributing your experience and knowledge of frontend development.

As a Frontend developer, you will play a key role in the development team which aims to expose new users to HPC functionalities. 

Your main tasks would include:
Designing and creating great user experiences
Creating and testing components for specific use cases
Creating a library of reusable components
Writing automated tests for components

Your qualifications
We are looking for a consultant with as many of the following competencies:

·         JavaScript

·         Frontend development framework, preferably Angular

·         Sassy CSS

·         CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap and Material design

·         REST API frameworks

·         Back-end fundamentals

·         HTML/CSS

·         Responsive design

·         Testing and debugging

·         Analytical Skills

·         Strong background in programming (a command of at least 5 different languages)

·         A proven track record delivering large-scale projects

·         Experience working in diverse and international teams

·         The ability to navigate complexity and learn as you go along

·          A disciplined  and structured approach to your work

·         QA and code optimization is second nature

It would be a plus to have experience with high-performance computing (HPC).
