Junior Application Specialist

Education:          Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience

Position Description:

Working in the R&D department, the Application Specialist position is involved in the technical configuration of Digital Asset Management, an enterprise web platform, designed and maintained by CLX Europe. The role requires both technical and communication skills. The candidate will be inducted initially by the Configuration and Support team and will gradually become independent.

The working context is a multinational team with several expertise involved, so one of main requisite is a good inclination to work in team to ensure high quality deliverables and time to market.

Responsibilities:

• Configuration of the application workflows
• Supporting internal and external demand for Incident resolution and service requests
• Scripts implementation and execution
• Data analysis and problem troubleshooting

Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of Web Technologies
• 2+ years of working experience as developer or technical support
• Good knowledge and interest in script development (PHP ideally)
• Good knowledge of SQL language
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail, good attitude of logical thinking and proactivity
• English professional proficiency, written and spoken
• Motivated, self-starter, result oriented and desire to learn
• Upper secondary school graduation (Liceo or Istituto Tecnico Professionale)

Additional Preferred Competencies:

• Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA and Confluence administration
• Knowledge of MongoDB query operations

The workplace is in Verona.
