Backend Java Developer with a good portion of experience also within the frontend area.
In 1998, I graduated from the Master of Science in Informatics program in Gothenburg and have been
working within the IT area for over two decades since then. My main and most recent focus has been
on Java development, including integrations, all variants of testing, DevOps and support. Over the
years, I had a number of different positions, including application developer, team lead and embedded
systems tester. However, I prefer to work with pure application development and/or DevOps.
I believe my working colleagues consider me as social, loyal and a top team player. I am analytical by
nature, love to troubleshoot and solve different kind of issues. I adapt easily to new work situations,
team constellations and love to help others. Therefore, I tend to stay for a long time on each
assignment. I consider myself as a "finisher", who do not put down the work until all needed
requirements are fulfilled and stakeholders are completely satisfied.
In 2014, I started my own one-man consulting firm. Since then I work as a freelancing IT consultant.
Today, I am looking only for a new consultant assignment, not employment.

There is a problem for me leaving Gothenburg so if the assignment is outside Gothenburg, I would

Brand new development of various telematics-related IT services using microservice architecture. Strong focus on integration, component testing, monitoring services using bots, continuous integration and continuous deployment in the cloud (Amazon AWS), as well as support and load testing. Main development of a softcar service for simulation of moving vehicles. Most backend, but also some frontend eg. in AngularJS and React.
Process methodologies used were Safe, Scrum and Volvo's own support model for DevOps. Supporting over 50 different micro services together with corresponding clients. All possible tasks within the area of telematics and communication between integrated services.
