Hans Bagstevold has more than 25 years of consulting experience in technology-oriented management and business development. Hans has led national and international projects related to software development, ERP, IT procurement, change processes and business development.
Improvement and optimization of customers' business processes has been Hans’ focus. His competences is oriented in the interfaces between strategy, business development and utilization of IT systems. Software development and business critical standard software is the areas of expertise that Hans has by far the most experience from which he has held many roles and positions like technical development of ERP solutions, ERP procurement processes, consolidation of ERP portfolios, implementation, operation and management.
Hans has extensive experience in ICT-related transformations. These change management projects have included deep understanding how people and organizations work combined with the understanding of technology. Hans has a wide competence related to business value chain, both vertical and horizontal. His technical background gives him the knowledge to improve business processes with new technology. His experience also includes vendor management combined with internal services in order to deliver the best solutions for internal and external customers.
Hans has also held a number of management roles in various companies, such as chairman of the board, board member, country manager (also a member of Nordic corporate management), CEO, department manager, project manager etc. The roles have required good strategic competence and good understanding of business processes within the industries and verticals served by Hans' clients. Contract preparation and vendor follow-up activities has also been a natural part of Hans’ roles.
