Oppsummering

I need to know why I do things. I am not good at being served cut and dried solutions that
simply need to be implemented. I want to be involved in the bigger picture and have that
pioneering sense that there are things to discover and that I and my team can collaborate our
way to a truly great solution that nobody has thought of before.
I am a strong communicator and a versatile team player, and have experience with Scrum,
Kanban and eXtreme Programming. I have also been known to successfully lead groups, as a
formal leader as well as an informal one.
I don't know everything about anything. Okay, let's be honest - I hardly know anything at all.
But my biggest strength is my ability to quickly learn a lot of new things. Today, many
believe that school is for learning and work is for applying what was previously learnt. I think
that is nonsense. The workplace is just another classroom in the school of life, and the day one
stops getting better is the day one stops being good, as some lean Toyota-fellow once said.

The latest version of JavaScript (ES 2016) was the baseline. React and Redux were my bread and butter, but I also worked with RxJS for Reactive Programming and production level Elm
for that functional robustness. I was a big driver in changing to a cross-functional team setup, since Node.js and creating backend APIs has never scared me, and the specialist grouping we
had used before was causing major bottlenecks and huge lead times.

A web app developed single-handedly by yours truly using Ember. The server was written in Python, utilizing the web2py framework, and was deployed using Google App Engine. A
special focus and a key to the steady pace in the project was the test-first, behavior-driven
approach. Over 1200 automatic tests verified the integrity of any change before being
deployed - over 400 testing the client application and over 800 the server application.
Questionable Heroes

2010-01 - 2010-01

A full-scale 3D action multiplayer game developed in C++ by a team of 5 developers and 10
graphics artists in only 8 weeks. It was nominated in the categories "Best Execution" and
"Game of the Year" in Swedish Game Awards 2010.
Din Mamma

2009-01 - 2009-01

Your mother has to save you from the bullies and perverted teachers at your school, swinging
her purse and wading through blood. A 2D platformer written in C# using the TorqueX game
engine.
