I have had my own consultancy since 2017. One of the customers I was involved with working at d60, wanted to continue working with me after I left for a new job. I have worked with People Test Systems for many years now, helping with development, architecture, coaching, sparring and what else is required – e.g. the technical preparation related to a company purchase/exit. I have also acted as sparring partner for several other firms and startups.

At JP/POL Medier I have helped migrate subscribers from an old platform to a new. This has involved a lot of streamlining of process, data and similar. I furthermore helped stabilising, optimizing and develop their new platform. At JP/POL I have acted as team lead for multiple teams, tech lead, architect, devops and all in between.

At Danske Bank I was the Tech Lead in a newly established team, in which we in record time built tools to allow for ODD for the largest and most complex customers in the bank. The team was, through my pragmatic, agile and modern approach, quick to deliver value on a weekly basis. I made the decision to work with Monorepo and trunk based development which drastically increased the accountability culture within the team, and laid the foundation of a high performing team that continued to exceed expectations from stakeholders, and was a guiding star for other agile teams in the bank. Later I became part of larger agile (SAFe) setups, where I pushed for modern agile organisation structures that allowed developers to work at scale.
I was one of the key figures in transitioning Danske Banks first SAFE area from a domain divided (horizontal) team split, into a vertical feature driven approach, where each team is in control of their own tech stack, and can continuously deliver software with a minimum of blocking.
While at Danske Bank I shared my broad knowledge and passion about many subjects, with many teams, departments and units within the bank, but also spoke at public conferences. As my manager said: “He is a force of change and big influencer with modern, technical and agile thinking”.

At d60 I primarily worked on web applications in different domains, including logistics and contract fulfillment related to biomass, container logistics companies, personality tests, surveys, oil trading and BI web integration. While at d60 I took over responsibility for multiple projects where no “original” developers were left. I seized this as an opportunity for learning and developed strong skills and competency for diving into other people’s code, applications and systems and gain a deep undestanding very quickly. At d60 I focused on reducing my technology blindspots and develop robust full-stack devops competencies. By the end of my time at d60 I was already a highly versatile developer, able to handle most tasks – whether defining solution, executing, sparring, coding, debugging, reviewing, operating, supporting, taking over. If lacking specific skills or knowledge this gets quickly adressed.

At Netcompany I primarily worked with configuring and building solutions based on Netcompany’s CM/ECF system GetOrganized which was built on the SharePoint platform. At Netcompany I participated in all parts of the projects and in very close collaboration and dialogue with customers and users. I both executed and was technical project lead on multiple projects. At Netcompany I implemented several integrations with various national back-bone dataproviders and other systems.
Working on a project from start to finish, I handled planning, workshops, design, requirement clarification and negotiation, go-live, user education and all in between. In this work I thoroughly learned the importance of building and maintaining a great work relationship with customers and users.
This is something I now try to ensure as one of the founding pillars in all projects in which I participate. I believe that the effect of a good customer and user relationship towards avoiding trench warfare is incredible crucial and often extremely undervalued.

Cetrea A/S implements software to support clinical logistics in hospitals. The purpose of their products is to support communication, coordination, collaboration for the clinical personnel. The company was founded as the result of research at Aarhus University.
When I started in 2008, they were a handful of employees and the product was running in one hospital. In the surgery ward and a couple of patient wards. When I left 5 years later, there were more than 30 employees, the product portfolio had increased to multiple products and running in 4 of the 5 regions in Denmark and running at all hospitals in Region Midt. Quality at Cetrea was a must. If bugs got through to production, lives could be lost. As a result, QA has been written into my DNA. I had multiple roles at Cetrea. Among these I continually participated in pushing the boundaries for what the system could do and ensured that the steps forward were taken with appropriate care and scalability considerations.
